The idea of our LipDub HEG Arc was to promote our university of applied sciences by presenting the building
(it is a very eye-catching one) the professors, assistants, students and the rest of the staff in a very dynamic way.
Besides the fact, that the LipDub has been widespread through out the social networks and websites (website of our university of applied sciences and the website of the music artists), it will be used in th official presentations of our university. We therefore wanted to show every aspect of our university, that's why the camera is following the students and professors through the whole building. It was as well important to us, to point out, that in our university you can take russian classes (since we have partner universities in Russia) that's why we introduced the girl with the russian message, the latter says "HEG Arc says hello to their partner universities in Russia". The production was led by a member of the university staff and an external specialist, who took classes at the New York Filmacadamy. The screenplay was written in common and revised by other university staff members. The "actors" are all professors, assistants, students and other staff members. All the people involved in the project, were very motivated to realize a new kind of promotional tool for the university. They loved to act, allthough, we had to make at least 10 takes before we could release them so that they could enjoy a few drinks and food as a reward for their hard work and commitment. |

It is Whit Sunday and across the Netherlands people are enjoying a relaxing and quiet morning at home.
Well, not in the entire Netherlands... Up in the north, in the small town of Groningen, something is happening. University of Groningen students, staff and alumni are gathering in the University Library, something they wouldn't normally do on a Whit Sunday. Today, however, is Groningen Lipdub Day. A lipdub is a music video, shot in one single take, showing students and staff singing, dancing, doing crazy things and having lots of fun. Early in the morning participants started arriving, carrying all kinds of interesting props, such as an entire rowing boat, a stretcher, toilet paper, a saucepan, and even a scooter, which was driven up to the third floor of the building. Around 10 o'clock serious rehearsals began, with everybody practising their lines and moves under the guidance of director Nout, and cameraman Sjaak, from Sjaak & Nout Productions. In the afternoon, the final shot was recorded and the one and only University of Groningen lipdub was born. Over 200 brand new movie stars burst into loud applause and cheers. Initiator Frank den Hollander, also starring as Rooie Rinus in the video, said: "This is a great promotion for the University of Groningen. It shows how much fun Groningen is and it might even persuade prospective students to enroll at the university". |

We started producing our LipDub in March 2011 and planned it in weekly meetings.
First we defined the route and groups according to our chosen song.
Then we recruited participants through posters, emails and other marketing avenues. The number of participants increased with every meeting, from 20 at the first participant meeting to 35 by the first rehearsal and 71 on the day of shooting. We've been lucky that the bridge part of the song was as long as the elevator took to get down two floors so we decided to put the trio performance in it. Klimmstein was very happy with our LipDub video so we got their permission to use their song. |

From writing to filming in two weeks, 20 full-time MBA students at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University)
produced the first LipDub by a U.S. business school to Kenny Loggins' "Footloose". The entirely student-led effort included a cast of 70 as part of the annual song-and-dance sketch comedy event written, directed and produced by Kellogg MBA students, "Special K!". The cast learned their parts, rehearsed, and were filmed as a single, continuous shot in less than 3.5 hours on a Sunday morning -- we needed to get to our studying! We had two members of the administration as actors, but unfortunately they weren't able to stay long enough to be in the shot that we used. Now that we have done it once, it will be much easier to get participation from the staff if we make another LipDub next year. |

The director of the lipdub is a young filmmaker from Valencia, Miguel Ángel Font,
whose work is internationally exhibited (he mainly shoots short-films, music videos, fashion films,
spots and middle-lenght movies) With the help of a steadycam operator and 3 members of the university he wrote the script, directed the actors, did the editing and the color of the video. The idea was to show not only the university building but what you can find while your studium period (the subjects, the magazines the students create, the graduation, the teachers, the exams...). 437 participants (teachers, students most of them). |

This LipDub was performed partially on-stage as the closing act of the 2010 edition of the "Noite da Medicina" show, held in the mythical concert venue "Coliseu dos Recreios", making it the very first semi-live LipDub. Due to the sheer size of our faculty grounds (the largest medical school in Portugal), a conscious decision was made to split the LipDub in 3 takes, covering its most iconic parts Ð hence its alternative name, LipDúbio (LipDubious). |

As the director and cameraman I had seen the original University LipDub back in late 2008
and was inspired to do one myself. I then spent the next three years on and off watching other videos like it
trying to see what they had done well and what could be done better. In the spring of 2011 I finally had the opportunity to create a LipDub video with the help of almost 50 students, professors, and staff members who participated in this project to make it a huge success! We called it PrinDub after Principia, the name of our college. Preparations were made over the course of almost two months but only when time allowed (which wasn't very often). Special thanks to the Media Services crews for help with setup and preparation especially to the video crew for help with choreography and execution. 1 Professor participated as an actor and the 5 Staff members participated in acting, capturing footage (behind the scenes footage and principal photography), choreography, lighting, and setup. We're very happy with what we've produced and we hope you'll like it too. |

This Lipdub was created by two students Communication and Multimedia Design at NHL University in the Netherlands. For this Lipdub, students dressed up in glamorous outfits. The central hall was transformed into a nightclub and the cafeteria into a dance floor. Over a 100 students, professors and other staff members participated in making this Lipdub on the song Famous by Scouting for Girls. |

Approximately 900 people appeared on this Lip Dub.
The initiative comes out the course of creativity students of Advertising and Public Relations (Directors: Daniel Feixas i Santi Hausmann). A group of 20 students encouraged people to participate on the project through the creation of a group on Facebook. With this Lip Dub we have tried to show our culture and traditions. |

This lipdub was produced on Mother's Day 2010 with many friends from Hall of Residence IV, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Made on May 9th 2010. The process was a painstaking one, requiring intricate planning and absolute coordination among each and every one of us. The fact that realisation of the video stretched over the examination period was testimony of our dedication to create a great and fun lipdub. The realisation team was made of roughly 5 people. The idea for the lipdub came about as the graduating seniors wanted something to pass on to the juniors. Participants were all residents of the hall of residence at any one point of time. |

Three months of planning. One week of preparation. Three hours on set.
Four full takes (plus a half one that was cut short when the photographer
fell in a staircase). Approximately 150 students, most of them freshmen from the Political Science Department. Ten different groups prepared their own part of the song and it was all put together on location at the Main University Building. We all wanted to make a great video to represent our university, but the main objective was for everybody to have a lot of fun doing it. The team consisted of two people from Uppsala Student-TV who managed the production, and nine people from UPS (the political science student organization) who organized to get all the actors prepared. We did unfortunately not get any staff members to be on set. |

The idea was brought to us by our Theory of Communications teacher, Alda Da Silva.
She proposed the project to three sections of first year of Social Communication in which she teaches her subject. We all accepted the challenge. This LipDub was organized by section B. We made fast rehearsals without camera one day, and another day we did with the camera. Our production was completed in a single day, starting very early in the morning and ending past midday. The talents were given instructions and placed at their spots a while before starting rehearsals. We shot around 5 or 6 times. The last one was the one we chose. We chose the song Waving Flag because we wanted to show our university getting ready for the South Africa World Cup, no matter how much we had to study and no matter how many tests and work we had left. Everyone loves the World Cup. Our team was integrated by our whole section, which was divided into small groups in charge of different things: Direction (3), Direction Assistant (1), Camera (1), Music (1), General Production (4), Chiefs of Production (2), Production Coordinators (4) and Production Assistants (27). There were three teachers and one security man involved. Around 150 people participated in the shooting of the video, incluiding the students and the staff. |

It was planned and filmed in an hour on Thursday 22 April 2010. There were over 30 people performing and planning the lipdub. We reuse a few people up to three times! LipDub UZ was shooted in April 2010 by students of media and information technology education as part of training activities at the Department of Media and Information Technologies of the University of Zielona Gora.
The aim of the project Lipdub was, through creating something trendy, to teach students elements of film art (preparing scripts and screenplays, directing, filming and editing).
Additional objectives were integration, joint entertainment and creating a joint work by students of all years of the specialization of media and information technology. The production involved both students of all the five years of the specialization of media and information technology education, and the teaching staff. Altogether, over 130 persons acted on the filming location. Over 120 students; 6 professors; 8 assistants, 4 other staff members. |

The idea of making the first Hungarian university lipdub video came into the mind of the two main organizers of this video,
Tamás Gyurácz and Ádám Pusztai. After presenting the idea to the university students followed by a few weeks of preparations and

We chose to do our MBA in McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management because we wanted to change the world in our own little way.
We wanted to show the world how giving a little love every single day of your life can be the start of something big. And this video was born. Like the song goes, "You've got to give a little love" - we hope to inspire everyone to do the same by giving love in any little way they can! The idea for the lipdub stemmed from our love for the world, rooted in the concept that if you pay it forward in little ways, you can eventually change the world. 32 nationalities are represented in the lipdub, making it a truly global production! The lipdub team, led by Singaporean Jun Yeo and Canadian Charlie Bern, is made up of 9 different nationalities, all of whom are enrolled in McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management's MBA Program. 90 participants made this incredible lipdub happen!! |

This is the first Australian University Lipdub; filmed at La Trobe University, Melbourne.
The video involved 109 participants of local as well as international students representing
the great diversity that is at La Trobe. We wanted to make a video that would loosely chronicle the history of our university, from its birth in the mid-1960's to its politically active 1970's to the colourful, vibrant and busy place it has become. We wanted to involve lots of the different aspects of university life including the activities you can get involved in, the different cultural groups represented, studying, campus life right through to graduation with some Australia-isms thrown in for good measure including Vegemite and lawn bowls. The Lipdub was produced by a team of staff and students from the Student Theatre and Film Office. We had a day of rehearsal on Wednesday the 29th of September and the lipdub was filmed the following day between 10am and 4pm. We did four takes and the 4th take is the one we have used. 4 university staff members participated as actors. |

It took five takes, and was filmed with a steadicam in our Student Union Building.
This video was created mainly for the promotion of Dalhousie Orientation Week. LipDub was directed and choreographed by Gillian Fung, Sarah Bouchard and Logan Astle (with no previous film experience). Planned from April 2010 - August 2010. Thanks a lot! We had tons of fun. |

The script and hole project was prepared by 7 students.
We become a LipDub Team at first LD Meeting.
Four of us is studying law, one international relationships, one administration and one psychology.
We were meeting few times at week in 2 months. The idea came from the Internet where one of the students create a topic about LipDub. Many people got interested very fast at this project and we started the arrangements. We were looking for students, we were writing a script and the last week preparing the stage design. We had 3 meetings with students where we've presented song, script and main idea. In the LipDub played over 200 people. In subtitles we've forgot to write 3 people. We were probably the first University in the world which presented LipDub in 3D technology - in the cinema. I'm sure that was first this type polish production. |

After the massive earthquake that affected our country, we had the idea of creating a lipdub that could be inspirational
and remind people that there is always hope. The production process took two weeks, which included the
selection of the song, creating the whole concept, choreographing the shot, recruiting the students,
teachers, staff members, rehearsing and finding all the props and costumes. The whole communications faculty was dedicated from eight in the morning to three in the afternoon the day of shooting only to the lipdub video. Students from every class and every year were involved in the lipdub from concept to shooting. In total there were about 70 students in front of the camera, at least 10 producing and another 10 working behind the scenes. Four professors acted in the lipdub, one staff member also acted, as did the Dean of the communications faculty. |

We are three in our lip dub team, in first year.
All of us are members of the association for the student life in school.
We use to organize events in school, and to do a lip dub was a new challenge for us but we think we can be proud of our work. 1 director, 2 assistants director 43 students and 1 prof. We wanted to show our school at future students and defend Marseille in our net school. After 2 hours, 4 takes, and a lot of fun, we were very happy and proud. Maybe 43 students is not very numerous but during the shoot, everyone knew them each other and the feeling was very good. We managed to strenght cohesion in school. |

While watching the ceremony broadcast a group of students came up with a crazy idea of making their own Lip Dub and winning an award. That was where the fun began! The preparations lasted for about 2 months. About 500 UEP students and a few lecturers starred in the video, shot on the night of April 28/29 2010. The last shot was taken at 2.15 AM! This is the FIRST University LipDub in Colombia, by the School of Communications of Universidad de La Sabana. The recording took place at the University Campus of La Sabana, located on Chía, Colombia (15 minutes from Bogotá) on Thursday May 13th 2010, with 158 participants (students, professors and administrative personnel). The idea of the ComSabana LipDub came from the Senior students of Ninth Semester, which also were part of the XVII Excellence Awards Committe 2010-1 "Communication: A Window to the World". The Excellence Awards is an event that the School of Communications from La Sabana has been making for more than eigth years, where the most recognized work by the School's students is honored. |

A professional cameraman, a director (the female student who got the idea), 6 girls organizing the various scenes (6 female students who played in the video too, as well as the director), everybody's big enthusiasm and madness. We decided to produce our Lipdub on the 10th of May 2010, that was 4 days before the day of recording. We had to record it on Friday the 14th, it was our only chance to do it, because it was our last day of term. We thought it was impossible, because we hadn't so much time to organize everything, we were a few number of people... Despite all this, we managed to do it!! In only 4 days! We recorded 4 times on Friday morning and then we chose the best recording! We're very satisfied and we hope you'll be too! |

116 students and skeleton - Only 1 week of preparation, 5 hours of shooting. Not very long but our building is constantly busy and we had very little time for shooting. However, I think we managed to create something cool. The idea came after seeing a similar video clip on the Internet. The scenario was made in one night. Quick organization, quick shooting, and we present quickly lipdub. I encourage you to watch our lipdub and the making of scenes. |
